| The 2010 Summer Season ended on a wonderful high this past Saturday, 8/14. Over 400 friends, family and invited guests attended Saturday's Family Picnic at Goffle Brook Park. There were plenty of fun activities for all to enjoy with Fulbito, Volleyball, Sapo and even XBox Live video games for the children. A special thanks to all who helped make this event a huge success and the biggest NASA Family Picnic in our history. |

| NASA celebrated the start of the 15th Annual Summer League on Saturday, 7/10 at Goffle Brook Park. The festivities started with the parade of 16 teams and over 225 players. Fortunately, the rain did not interrupt the celebration and all activities proceeded without delay. We would like to thank all participants including our honored guests; Congressman Bill Pascrell, Sheriff Jerry Speziale and Councilman Andre Sayegh, who spoke briefly to the hundreds of spectators and players. Our training model is based on the technical, ball possession style of South American soccer with a training staff that consists of former international professional players. | NASA was invited to participate in a meeting with representatives from the US Youth National Team. Several prominent soccer clubs, including the NY Red Bulls Academy, were also present in the meeting run by Juan Carlos Michia - National Staff Coach and U17 Scout. The goal is to form a system of identifying top local players to be seen directly by National Team coaches and scouts, avoiding the long and costly process of ODP. As a participating member, we will help recommend players to the US YNT program and directly to Wilmer Cabrera, coach of the US Youth U17 MNT. Click on More Info for details. |

Oscar Gonzalez (F)- 2 yrs with club, selected to U15 YNT. Rafael Diaz (GK)- 5 yrs with club, helped team win 2 NJ State Cups, selected to U18 Men's NT. Jossimar Sanchez (D)- 5 yrs with club, captain of 2 time NJ State Champions, selected as starting defender on U18 Men's NT. | The 2008 Men's Fulbito Tournament and Sapo Tournament turned out to be a wonderful event. Thank you to all participants and volunteers who made this event a success. Over 400 people enjoyed the festivities as there were 8 Fulbito Teams, 6 Sapo Teams and countless youngsters playing XBox, Table "Fulbito" and many other games. Tournament Rules: 6v6 (5 + goalie), 3 game minimum (25 mins each), semi-finals & finals. 1st & 2nd place trophies, $200/team ($25 per individual). Plenty of food and drinks available. | The 13th annual Summer League Season kicked off this past Sunday, 6/29 at Goffle Brook Park. There were 22 teams and over 270 children who participated in this year's event. Opening Ceremonies began at 10am with welcome speeches by NASA representatives and invited guests. After the introduction, each team paraded around the field and took individual and team pictures. The festivities ended at 11:30am and the official start of the season proceeded at noon. Per the Board of Education, all fields (Soccer, Football and Softball) must be closed immediately until further notice. | We recently completed our first ever Traveling Team Tryouts and were very pleased with the results. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the tryouts and wish everyone a successful 2008-2009 season. We would also like to congratulate all players who passed and will be joining one of the NASA Traveling Teams. We will field teams in the following age divisions: U8B - U16B, U14G and U16G. Practices will begin in July and notices will be sent within the next 2 weeks.
