NASA United Soccer Traveling Program currently has boys teams in each of the age groups from U7 through U19 for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. These teams compete in premier leagues throughout the northeast and participate in highly competitive tournaments throughout the Eastern Region of the United States. NASA club teams have also advanced to US Regional Championships in New Hampshire and North Carolina.
Through a comprehensive training curriculum and a dedicated professional staff, NASA United Soccer has been able to capture the NJ State Championships in 2002, 2003 and 2010. No other soccer club has won more NJ State Cups in the Northern, NJ Region (Bergen, Passaic & Hudson) over the past decade.
The focus at NASA United is on player development through top quality instruction and exposure to the highest levels of competition. All teams are coached by 2 professional trainers who will consistently focus on helping players achieve a higher level of ball handling creativity and technical proficiency in preparation for club, high school, college, National teams and/or professional teams. By having 2 trainers per team, it gives each team the extra time needed to help accelerate the learning process for all players and maximizes the efficiency of each training session. NASA also provides professional goalkeeper training, which is provided on a separate day specifically dedicated to all the goalkeepers within the club. All staff members are former players, some with professional international experience. The training model is based on the highly technical, ball possession style of South American and Spanish (Spain) soccer. NASA club teams usually dedicate up to 4 days a week to practices and games. It may consist of 2 practices and 2 games or 3 practices and 1 game, depending on the league schedule, State Cup schedule or tournament schedule.
As a member of the Traveling Program, all players receive preferred benefits on all additional NASA Programs throughout the year. Members receive discounts ranging from 30% - 60% on the following programs:
